Queridos Padres,

This group of students has been such a gift to me already this fall! Overall they have had such an easy time adjusting to second grade and are working so well with one another. It has been really fun to see. This past week I checked out The Message’s version of our Bible memory verse which says, “Keep your eyes open for God, watch for his works; be alert for signs of his presence” (Psalm 105:5). I love the emphasis it puts on the fact that we have to actively watch for what God is doing, because He is obviously doing incredible things around us. We are going to talk about this together as a class this week Tuesday and will brainstorm ways we see God working around us throughout the week. I encourage you to do this at home as well!

Thanks for all of your encouragement and prayers. It has been so much fun working with your kids! Don’t forget to check out the videos and pictures on Facebook or on our website to see what happens at school!

Thanks for your continued prayers for unity throughout this year!

Blessings,

Hilda Durán

This is very much seen with a beautiful picture of yours with those rediant faces of kids. We reach out to the poorest of poor with the love of Christ to bring healing to the brokenhearted. We also encourage young and the adults from the west to come to Mumbai to work with us during their vacation time. We would love to have you come to Mumbai to work with us to be hands and feet of Jesus to serve the most under privileged children and adults living in the slums of Mumbai. I am sure you will have a life changing experience. Looking forward to hear from you. My email id is:dhwankhede(at)gmail(dot)com and my my name is Diwakar Wankhede.
